I'm programmer and at the moment making a previsualization iPad app for directors. Have a look at my tool:

This app should support directors when they want to design a set for a movie with virtual/CGI elements. You can interactively choose your camera position, influence the virtual objects and therefore explore, experience and plan your film scene interactive. Needless to say that you can also use big and real sets, not just the cardboard city from the video.

Would you spent money for that app? Would it help you by planing your movie?
