For a film I'm making, I need to make a countdown from 72 hours and show it on a television. Also, I need it to be able to speed up without me having to film it for hours and hours and hours and just put it in fast motion.
Any ideas of how to make such a countdown?

Your camera might have a timelapse function that you can use to record a few seconds each hour. That could work. I think they use it to film flowers opening their buds.

I thought about just simulating the screen of the television, but that seems to look bad when I've seen it done.
