I need to get a contact for the inside of a jumbo jet. The possibility of using one owned by a airline company is improbable. I was infomored that I need to use one that is not in service, most likely owned by a company that uses it for that reason. If anyone has a jumbo jet, or knows of anyone that is willing to let the use of one for feature film production, email me at byarbrough?mac.com.

Stu Segall Productions (in San Diego) has a 727 A200 that is specifically used for filming.

My friend Joe down the block from me delivers airplanes all over the world for a living-- single engine, learjets, and sometimes jumbo jets. Depending on you, your movie, what might be in it for him, he might let you ride along for company and film, I don't know. He is also on the Film Commission in my state of Minnesota USA for scouting locations while in the air.
Why not just do a mock up? In the end you might save some cash and you'd have more room to film.
Or you could just cut down from a jumbo. What the hell do you need a jumbo for anyway? Snakes on a Plane Pt. 2? (god forbid)
That's it! You people have stood in my way long enough! I'm going to clown college!

If you are willing to pay, there are at least two I know of in Los Angeles and the Stu Segall one is an option. However...

I don't know that too many people posting here have one.....
Your dad is head of security at the Burbank Airport. Doesn't he know someone at one of the airlines that you could talk to?

Unfortunately, I talked to my Dad and he said that there is nothing that he can do to help me out except with advice on what to do. Because I still have to get all of the neccessary permits from the city to film anyways. He said there is no way a big company is going to put one of their planes out of service just for a video. All of their craft are in use, or they are busted and being fixed. There is no downtime for planes. So I have tried that avenue of resources, he just said to go get one that is used for film making. Thanks for all of the input. What is the information for the two that are located here in Los Angeles?
