I was just wondering if any of you had any ideas for lighting a movie involving a schizophreniac, stuck up in her house? I want to make the movie look really crazy but at the same time, not irritatingly so. Also I haave absolutely no budget on this one, so we plan to use lights available in the house.
Any ideas?
What are the two (or more) alter egos of the schizophrenic?
You could use different collored Gels for each one, for instance a red one for a violent mindset or a green one or blue etc, this would help subtily create a different in the moods and subconciously show the audience which of the egos it is.

WEll, she doesnt have alter egos, its just taht she suffers froma disorder which disables her from differentiating what goes on in her mind from reality
Well you could do the same sort of thing and hjave different shades for real and imagined things.
