Hey,

What should be the key intellectual property rights in film that I should be concerned with?

A few to consider:

UNDERLYING RIGHTS
Rights owned in the screenplay, story, or basis for it (i.e. book, story etc)

PERFORMANCE RIGHTS
For your cast (i.e. the right to use their image for the film and things connected to it such as marketing)

MUSIC RIGHTS
For all the music used in the film

COPYRIGHT
Who owns the final film.

Regards,

Ben C.
