I know these music issues come up a lot. I don't want to put real recorded music in my film. I am creating a scene where my guy is running with his iPod. Again, I wouldn't play any music, but I'd like to have him grunt out a lyric or two while jogging. How much can I get away with? I figure it will hardly sound lyrical, so it could come off as random sentences. Any thoughts?

Have him grunt out a lyric or two of an original song. One written
specifically for your movie by a local band you admire.
