"FPS" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frame_rate
"focus" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Focus_(optics)
The footage in that clips is not in focus - meaning is is not
clear, the image is fuzzy to the eye.
When you shoot something at a higher FPS than you projected
it - the motion appears to slow down. If that tiny model was
shot at a slightly higher Frames Per Second and then projected
at the normal Frames Per Second that can give it some "weight".

The aim of an argument or discussion should not be victory, but progress.

You could always try getting one of those model kits and putting it together. You'll need some skill getting it painted / airbrushed properly, but the end result can work (with some creative work).
Several makes exist, but apparently most authentic-looking is the "Fine Molds 1/48 X-Wing Fighter".
In addition, there are several X-Wing fighter models done in Google Sketchup and available on Google Warehouse. These can easily be imported into Blender, Maya, 3D studio Max, Lightwave or any other 3D software of your choice. If you have limited cash and unlimited time, this would be the way to go.
