This message might seem a bit petty but i could really use some help. I have just finished my script but have become stuck on the title of the film. I have spent a long time thinking and have asked all the people involved but still cannot come up with a suitable name. It is a typical spy movie very simmilar to Casino royale I do not expect you to try and give titles since you have not read the script but wondered how you have come up with a name or if there is any tips or websites which can help you.???

You could think of the point your trying to give, put it into a couple words and you got a title. Or think of something important in the story, like a movie I made sometime ago was about a tresure hidden in the arkitc I called it Arktic Tresure, its as simple as that.

Perhaps if you provide a logline some kind of name will come out...

ok i have written a quick logline:

a Spy is sent to russia to rescue a kidnapped actress although it soon becomes clear that it is the spy who is the real target.

Hope you can make something of that, thanks to everyone who helps

The problem with a more James Bond name is the names are pretty much meaningless.

Dr. No, Goldfinger, Octopussy, are named for characters.
Diamonds are Forever, Goldeneye, Thunderball, Moonraker, Casino Royale are named for plot points/mission names or locations.
Tomorrow Never Dies, World is Not Enough, From Russia With Love, Spy Who Loved Me, On her Majesty's Secret Service are named more or less randomly. Yes they have meaning but barely specific to the plot.
Never Say Never was named for an actor refusing to take the role again.

From your log line you don't have a villian, unless there is a specific location (you can use Russia, as From Russia with Love and Russia House), perhaps where the actress is being held, you're pretty much going with the semi-meaningless meaning which Henry701 has hit upon. His suggestion works with the twist, but might be even better if someone's name in the story is Real, or perhaps that's a psuedo name used by someone.

One further question, what agency does the guy work for (if a real one).

Unfortunately that doesn't help as Bond stole On Her Majesties Secret Service Already. Is it at all a comedy? That could play off other titles if it is. I'm assuming no.

Kremlin Echos (imagine the ad with bullet echos at the end, echos also brings a Soviet Cold war sort of thing to it)
Kremlin Report (report is the term for a bullet sound as well as paperwork)
Crazy Ivan (out of Red Oktober but still, if you've got a nutty ex Russian subman as a villian it works nice).
