Has anyone ever gotten or know ways to get free film (super 16)? I've heard of people getting film donated or something but have absolutely no idea where to start looking.
The first place to start is a place where super16 is sold.
Try Kodak
Try Fuji
Try places that sell re-cans and short ends.
Try production companies who are just finishing a movie.
Then get ready to sell youself and your project. You'll be in line with hundreds of filmmakers all looking for donations.
