This is my first post, but right now I really don't have the time for introduction.
I'm writing a screenplay using Final Draft. It's a lovely piece of software, but I'm having a problem that I'm hoping one of you know how to fix.
The software sets an automatic character extension after I write for the same charactor with only action in between and within the same scene.
If you don't know what I'm talking about....
JOHN
Yo, what's going on?
John sits down.
JOHN (CONT'D)
What are you guy's up to?
I don't need that "(CONT'D)". The rason is that I'm writing the script in Norwegian and the "(CONT'D)" needs to be "(FORTS.)"
But when I try to delete the "(CONT'D)", it comes back right when I click on something within the window.
I apriciate any help I can get.
By the way: this seems like a very nice forum.

Think you need to go to 'mores and continues' and disabled 'automatic character continues'.
Document menu in FD6, not sure about FD7.
Thank you very much. That helped.

When I'm saving my script as a PDF file the title page doesn't get included. Why? What can do to fix the problem?

Title page works for me. I believe on some older versions it was possible to accidentally save the title page as a seperate file and confuse the program, but that seems to be impossible in FD6.
