Hey
I'm making a movie set in WWII and I just wondering if by any chance anyone would have some props (uniforms....) lying around from there productions based in WWII. (We already have a few replaca weapons, and parts of uniforms) I would be happy to buy them from you

Thanks a lot,
your help is greatly appreacheated

I don't know about Canada, but I know that in the UK there are groups who specialise in WWII re-enactment as a hobby, and have all the hardware up to and including Sherman tanks. If there's any organisation like that in your area it may be worth contacting them for advice: just warn your parents first before the tanks turn up on the doorstep :).

I found a bunch of links on Google that might be a decent starting point:

Not sure if any of them are Canadian. In the UK I've seen articles about the re-enactment folks in a friend's militaria magazine (specialising in collecting that kind of thing), no idea if Canada would have similar magazines available.

Also, it might be worth it to look into your local community theater or the drama department at local high schools and colleges. If not a full wardrobe they'd probably have bits and pieces and would probably be very easy to negotiate with.
