hey guys. well its time to do another film and this is what i have to work with. a music venue,50 acker forest,a huge hat factory very old looking,a house,some cars,a school.
well what are some ideas?
Three musicians in a garage band trying to make it.
The Drummer works at a hat factory during the day and shoots up heroin in the forest at night.
His sister is the singer/bassist. She still goes to school and is fighting between homework and commitments to the band, a fight that is causing her grades to dump and her parents to freak.
The guitarist is the boyfriend of the singer. He works in the music venue mopping up and stuff. He's trying to arrange a gig and make connections but the venue owner knows about the Drummer's addiction and doesn't want anything to do with them for insurance reasons.
So the three have to work out their drug issues, help the singer/bassist pass her classes and convince the venue owner the drummer is clean. And they have to be ready to play when a slot opens up.

And then zombies pop up and they all learn how much they need each other while fighting the undead!!!!!!!!!1111111
Can you tell us the age range of your actors? Are you casting or using friends? Are you willing to deal with school age kids and what age school do you have available? Because I'm thinking a slasher picture could make use of your settings.
Drunk teens goofing around in forest are attacked. They flee in a very hectic opening scene. When they exit the forest and race off in their cars they realize one of their group, Blonde Ditz, is missing. They debate going back but they're all terrified. They think to call the cops but Bully Boy is on probation and they were up there doing drugs so Bully Boy bullies them into not calling.
Bully Boy steals his fathers gun and goes back to the forest. He looks around and follows a trail and then finds the old abandoned hat factory. Clearly he's never seen the place, this would be a great place to party. He sees a light in a window and goes in. He pokes around and there are spring-loaded cats, and dangling chains, and a scream. He sees Blonde Ditz chained up and whap, is hit or something and Billy Boy black.
Kids at school the next day. Virgin Girl called the cops and the kids are all called into the principals office. Bully Boy and Blonde Ditz are missing and the cops think they ran away together and the others are covering for them. Kids are suspended for the rest of the day for lying and not talking and decide to go look the missing girl.
They go, they search, they find the hat factory after awhile and search it out. Spooky stuff again but this time it is empty. There are clues, the missing girls bra, a joint, a pack of matches from a local music venue they occasionally go to. No sign of the missing kids. It's starting to get dark, the kids check their map and realize where they are. They call a friend on the cell phone and find they are too far from a cell phone hub out here. They have no choice but to hike back through the forest.
The sun goes down while they are in the forest. They start to get spooked by noises. They run back towards the cars. Virgin Girl runs into a tree. When the rest get to the cars they realize they are missing another friend. They are too afraid to go back into the trees. They drive around the forest to the hat factory and wait but see no lights or other signs of villiany. They argue and freak.
The next day they return to school and more questions they can't answer. They get the cops to check out the hat factory but there is no evidence. Cops aren't looking to hard after they find the bra and joint.
Later one of the kids gets a phone call from Virgin Girl, she's at the music venue. They're not sure if it's a trap to draw them in or what. It's daylight so they go. Virgin Girl is furious that nobody helped when she was hit his head. That they left her in the forest and that she had to hitch a ride. Luckily the owner of the music venue picked him up.
Now the rest is up to you. More kids and you could have a slasher. The owner or manager of the music venue is the villian. He's a serial killer and takes victims up to the hat factory. After Bully Boy showed up he cleaned up the crime scene. When he ran into Virgin Girl he got the story from her and he realizes he'll have to eliminate the witnesses.
The house can fit in anywhere as the kids/cops/owner of the music venue has to live somewhere.

Nah, they get bitten by a zombie and become the world's first zombie rock band :).
hey man. yea im only 17 so im using theater actors. we have one of the best drama programs in the country tho and we have like 4000 students so i should be able to find a good set of actors. i like your idea tho man. im trying to make the hat factory have alot of imprtance because its really quite a site. its the oldest hat factory in georgia. and it just looks and feels scary in there.

Not the first. Possible the third. "Hard Rock Zombies" and "Bitten! A Zombie Rock Odyssey" get the first two spots and sadly there is a zombie boy-band as well with "Ring Of Darkness".
Anyway zakhopper, use the ideas anyway you want and thanks for the creative challenge.
