My first feature is all volunteer but I understand that I should have contracts for everybody. I'm comfortable buying "Movie Magic" cotracts but it is unclear as to whether they are appropriate for Canada. Does anybody know or can you recommmend another place to get copies of contracts?

My idea is why don't you write up a contact by yourself and print it, an then take it to a lawyer,to gurantee that there is no liablity involved.

Because if it is all vulunteer, that means you don't really have the money to pay the actors, meaning you aren't rich. So to prevent losing a lot of money due to actor injuries, or other liabilty, you should go consult a lawyer with your own TERMs (written or printed clearly on paper).

That is my advice.
Good luck with your flim, and by the way what kind of flim is it?
