I paid for an ad in Backstage Magazine. There is an East coast and West coast edition and the ad will go online immediately. Cost $50 and I got a lot of headshots. I've heard Backstage is the number three for this type of stuff, that there are two others that garner larger responses but I don't remember their names.

I have noticed that many of the message boards (this one included) do not ever get a good response to casting calls. I guess i will stick with Craigslist as I have had a ton of success there. It seems every time I post an ad, within 24 hours I have dozens of resumes, film credits and head shots in my email box.

Craigslist is a great choice for me, so if any of you others out there are facing the same issues, give them a try. If you have never used craigslist before... well you have no idea what you are missing... give it a try by going to craigslist.org and finding your city oin the right hand side, then you can post an unlimited number of ads and reply to as many ads as you would like and it is all absolutely free. Just find the "Talent" Section under "Gigs"

Hope this helps the rest of you... i truly expected people to tell me about all these other great talent recruitment websites..
