I was recently visiting several schools in my area that offered acting programs. After asking a few questions and talking to several of the actors I found that most of them were quite willing to take part in a film production for free, as long as they got a copy of the finished film to add to their portfolio. The other good part is that some of these student actors are exceptionally tallented. I handed out one of my scripts for them to do a cold read and was blown away by a few of the performances. If any of you are truly serious about producing your low-budget flix, this is great place to look for talent. You won't be sorry when you see your characters explode to life infront of your eyes.
