Hello all, Right now I am in the process of writing a business plan on a script that I received. This is my first film business plan that I have written. I???m not exactly sure how to write it well. I would like to look at a sample film business plan or an existing one. If anyone knows of a website that has business plans on it. Or if anyone knows of any well written business plans on the web that I could take a look at I would be more than grateful if you could show me.
There is a book on this topic, and you must read it.
Now that I've said it, I'm having trouble remembering the details...
I think it's called "Business Plans for the Independent Filmmaker" or some such thing. It's written by the woman who wrote the biz plan for the Blair Witch, which is her (and the book's) main claim to fame.
She's got her own website, and you should be able to track it down through Google without too much trouble.
