i am prepairing to shoot a ahort war film and i need 16 actors. this is in reference to the uk, i am looking for actors that will act for only travel expenses paid via mandy.com

2 reasons:its not within my budget to be able to pay them
:i am not looking for actors with lots of experience in war films, i am looking for passionate actors who want to get better at acting in war films and learn how to move and act like a soldier.

for this resaon i want to find an ex-army soldier who could spend a day or 2 with the actors to show them how to move, shoot, manuver, act like a soldier. i could hire 2 ex-army ppl and split the 'good guy' actors and the 'bad guy' actors and one ex-army guy goes with each and we spend the day doing an organised FTX (field training exersise (dont ask why exersise starts with X, its military logic)), me and the two ex-army chaps would pre organise ambushes and assaults before hand. and the on the day, they will lead and demonstrate a mini war between the two groups (no live rounds will be used, only plastic replicas). all in all, id say this is a great opertunity for an amatuer actor and that they would be willing to do it for only travel expenses paid. what do you think?

I think if you have a limitd budget you might be better off having the soldiers on set telling the actors specifically how things would be done in specific situation while you are setting up cameras/lighting/etc instead of dedicating two days to running about. Of course if you film the running about it might have some value.
