Wich camera?

Wow!(...)I'm going to buy a camcorder...
I like to make also animation in stop motion (but I think that for digital cameras there aren't solutions for that...)
However: Sony pd 170? Canon XL? Panasonic DVX100a? Or...

Stop motion's not a big problem, you can shoot a few seconds of each frame and stick it together in the edit.

I would suspect your main problem, assuming you're talking about traditional stop-motion by moving models, would be getting the camera close enough to whatever you're taping without losing focus. The XL1 may be a good bet since you could fit an add-on lens if necessary, I think it's the only MiniDV camera with interchangable lenses.

Thanks for the swift reply! Until this moment I used this technology but adds work in more in phase of postproduction. I sought a solution that allowed to film myself "frame by frame" the individual motions ...I believe that I should wait for to the next "stop" of technology 🙂
