Hi guys, I'm editing a 2 hour video file and I hate it when I edit a portion and render it, that my computer lags so much. Any tips on how to solve this? By the way, I'm using Premier.

Stronger computer.

Cut the file into more manageable segments - say 8 15 minute segments. Or 4 30 minute ones

are you talking about real time render? if thats the case then since you are using premiere there is an option to real time render at 1/4 quality. Once you are done with the edit, then you can do a master render.

What are your computer specs btw?
