Friends guide me What is digital intermediat process??i have searced alot including wikipedia but i didnt got the satisfactory answer.please tell me about it as in PAKISTAN for the first time this technology has been used so im curious about it.

From what I have heard...the DI is when a filmmaker shoots on film then transfers the film to a digital Intermediate for color correction, effects, etc. then transfers this back to film for the print. That is the simple version. Anybody?
well looks like we are the only 2 people here who know about DIP.....thanks for guiding me

Kess has it right. Just about everything is cut off of digibeta transfers now, I don't know any shops that still use a flatbed.
