Any ideas on how to do a VFX insert window with reflection?
Here's the practical - shooting car with windows down. We shot the actors in the car using a car mount window rig so the window could not be up. We also couldn't shoot with a chase car because the natural lighting showed the camera crew in the reflection.
What I want to achieve - car window where the window should be and add the California coast zipping by as the reflection.
I'm thinking that I need to shoot the image for the reflection, light and shoot a car window on green screen and then composite into the existing shot.
I know I have to be missing something. Anyone attempt anything like this before? Any suggestions on a good VFX artist or compositor that can handle this if it's a little too advanced for me? Any suggestions would be great! Oh, we're a small indie film trying to make Sundance so if there is a VFX artist out there, we hope to work out a fair rate, credit and imdb listing in exchange for the work.
Looking forward to responses.

I could be wrong but if you just drop a shot of the california coast over the window, and reduce it to 20% transparency or so and it should look like a window reflecting in front of the driver.
