I'm currently running MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 11 for a video editing software and I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to reduce/eliminate a bad case of video noise. Any suggestions specific to or not specific to MAGIX would be greatly appreciated. Also, any suggestions on how to achieve more of a professional quality in general would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Robb

Where are you getting the noise? Could it be line noise?
As in- if you watch the tapes before importing, do you still get the noise?
If you do, then I don't know any way to help you. But if you don't you just need to look at your import settings.
the noise is in the background. i think it's on the tape but the problem might just be with the camera i'm using. it's a sony dcr-trv520 ntsc....i was googleing it and apparently others have had similar problems that they attributed to poor lighting. idk.
