Hi,

Following another post on this forum, I'm having a hard time capturing content from VHS tapes, which I have running through a Sony Analog-to-Digital converter, directly into my computer via FCP HD. When I hit play on the VHS deck, it is showing up in the FCP viewer just fine, but when I try to use "Capture Now," it says "Waiting for Timecode," and nothing happens. I suspect there is no timecode on these tapes. Is there a way to disable FCP's need for timecode in these cases? Any other suggestions?
