I am looking at purchasing an editor, and I am considering Vegas. I can get it for $230 at an academic price, and I would like to hear your take on it. Is it worthwhile? I will be editing everything from shorts to events to commercials. Is there anything that is lacking, something that other professional editors can do that Vegas can't?
Is there a feature not availabe that you feel should? Has anyone used it? How do you like the workflow?
