Couldn't use "Grey Hound" huh?

Looks pretty cool. I got some questions though, about yourself mostly.

Obviously you are an indie filmmaker, but it seems that these are real actors and that you actually have a crew (myself being 14). Would you mind it so much as to tell me what you do daily and how you live your life (if filmmaking is what your working at full time). I'd appreciate it a lot.

Looks interesting!

yes they are real actors. you be amazed at the talent right under your nose, local theater, acting classes. I come from an acting background myself (I am the tall con with the tatoos/beard)a lot of the actors are friends of mine.
We had a crew of about 10, mostly interns/PAs.
I do this pretty much full time. We are editing and sincing sound right now. editing is great, sincing sucks.

14? good for you. get a camera, start making movies (if you haven't already)

thanks
matt

That's awesome.

I live in Michigan, so my resources are limited. Only thing I have on the net is a trailer I made a few years ago.

Keep us updated.

the quality of the picture is very nice, looks like a professional production. did you use film or dv? if you used dv how did you get the quality so good?

we used the panasonic dvx 100 (digital). I hired a DP, approached the project as if it was film, We spent a fair bit on light rental, used a kino and 1200 watt hmi along with the usual assortment of smaller lights, lighting was key, My DP was very attentive to lighting needs. we also used jib and dolly shots quite a bit, to give it a film quality,

I'll comment on the website itself (since that's my "dayjob" business), and let others comment on the film itself - although I must add that this looks far, far better and more refined than your average looking indie low/no-budget website/feature promotion than I've seen for a while.

The site is neat and loads fast. Congrats on resisting the tempation to use Flash! ?8D? Only thing is add a true email form (rather than a "mailto:" link) to the "Contact Us" page, and don't forget to add the Phone/Cell numbers (or remove that text).

Good luck! This all looks very nice indeed!!
