Hello gentlemen, currently in the process of establishing my own small-scale production company and am wondering about post sound packages for the PC.

I have both Premiere Pro 2.0 and Avid Xpress HD with which to edit the footage.

Is there a PC equivalent to ProTools?

yeah...pro tools! You can get a digi 002 for around a thousand dollars now. I've been using cool edit pro for years and get great results from it. Pro tools is much better however because you can animate faders and effects all together where in cool edit you have to do it manually.

I use Avid while our sound man uses Pro Tools, a Digi Design package acquired by Avid in 1995, therefore, giving us flawless crossover compatability ?:)?
