i have a scene where after the opening credits it is revealed that the music over them is coming from the television. i am having trouble making the appropriate sound in final cut - could anyone offer any advice / links? i would be very grateful. thanks.

Are you talking about filtering the music so it sounds TV quality? I would play with a Bandpass filter until it sounded right (soundtrack if it's not in FCP).

thanks, i got passable results using the hipass filter in final cut, not perfect but does the job.
