Does anyone have/know of a good source for sword sound effects? I particularily like the sound effects used in the Animatrix "Last Flight of the Osiris" if anyonw has these sound effects or know how they made those sounds.

thanks for any help.

Perhaps you could record the sounds yourself with knives or something.
If not check out www.sounddogs.com. They've got plenty of sound effects there and you just might find what you're looking for.
Hope that helps.

It's all about suspended cookie sheets man. Get a cookie sheet. Tape string to four sides and then hang it from something, then drag and hit just about anything metallic over it. Works pretty good. You can tap toilet paper to the underside of the cookie sheet to fine tune the sound. But if it was me, I would get real swords and record those. (I have a pair that I bought, they sound awesome).

Two metal scrapers like the ones to fix walls. Sounddogs is also good, Steve is the man for putting those sound effects up. Also 142.55.43.32 is good for sounds but I'm not giving away any passwords you gotta figure out your own 😉

What? $1000!! That's crazy talk!!
