I really need a ballpark, even if it's a range. I just need some sort of idea here so I hope you can help. I've contacted some services and gotten no replies yet and I must find out a ballpark ASAP.

How much (even a slight approximation) would you say it would cost to do English subtitles for an independent theatrical production which is in Spanish. So it would need translation subtitles. Approximate length of the film would be....let's say 120 minutes. I don't have any more information to provide aside from that but I am needing even a roughest of rough ballpark if you have one.

I mean do you think we are talking like....$10,000 or much much more....or much much less? Even mildly educated guesses would help because I have no clue and must find out quick! Thanks!

If you have already done the entire translation, have a full script in English and
have done the timing with timecode, you might be able to get them done for
around $5,000.

if you need translation service or expect the company to do all the timing you
are looking at over $10,000.

If you haven't started your subtitles yet, I can get you quotes from Technicolor creative services in Glendale, CA, SDI in Culver City, CA and Captions Inc. Good luck with the subs!
