Hi all, I'm new and desperate.
I have a 90 minute film, cut in Final Cut Pro, compressed in Compressor, Authored for DVD is DVDStudioPro.
The DVDStudioPro file is 6.1 gig. So, we baught 8.5 gig duel layer DVD=Rs, as recomended. Our computer won't read them.
So, we special ordered DVD-Rs of the same size. Computer won't read them.
At this point I don't think the problem is with the file itself. I think the problem is either with the discs or our computer. I've talked to other film makers I know who use Mac and all the same software, and everyone is completely mystified as to why this is happening.
Has anyone else had this happen? What can I do? We have customers waiting patiently for their DVDs.
Thanks in Advance.
NP
Sorry I can't help. Like the other Mac users you've talked to, I don't know
why your computer isn't reading the discs. Maybe you'll need to compress
the movie to under 4GB and use single layer discs.
