k. i've been trying to achieve a slow motion effect in sony vegas 6, but i having been able to.
i've messed around with the speed rate and then rendering the clip, but when i open it to use with another project it goes back to normal speed.
can you help me??
In Vegas VELOCITY effects a VIDEO's speed.
100% = normal forward motion
0% = frozen frame
-100% = normal reverse motion
If you right click on a VIDEO CLIP and press velocity, the velocity bar comes up and u can insert keyframes and adjust accordingly.
For audio it is different...
If you right click on an audio clip and press properties, at the bottom you will see options for changing the length of the clip.
i.e. the original length is 2 minutes, if you change it to 2 minutes 30 seconds the AUDIO CLIP will slow down to fit the time. If you change it to 1 minute 30 seconds, the AUDIO CLIP will speed up to fit the time.
