Hi!
I am a total beginner here using the Sony A7III for video and I've been trying to get into film making for a while now. I am just getting into filming with color profiles and have been hearing that you have to use slog2 because it's a good starting point for color grading. But for some reason, I'm unable to get them to look anywhere as good as if I had just used PP2 (which I believe is the still gamma picture profile).
I've been trying to color correct it using Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro, read and been through 3 or 4 courses on using Premiere Pro and Final Cut from Lynda and Udemy on how to color grade and it's not looking how I want to look.
It always seems to me that it seems a little bit faded so if there's anyone out there who can point me to the correct direction on how to make an slog2 profile look like the PP2 or look good. Please send me that link or if I can have more tips on how to do the color grading correctly. I would be immensely grateful.
