Who: Jonathan Reed, owner/director of Bouncing Ferret Films

What: Series called Timestillers.

Compensation: No pay but this can be added to your portfolio. TIMESTILLERS is an 8 part series as well as a continual 40 minute short. This will be aired online and shown at independent film festivals.

Experience: Must have experience in using Motion or Adobe After Effects.

Who am I seeking: Special Effects artist.

What you need to do: Special effects for the TIMEJUMPS, when the TIMEMACHINE breaks, and add sparks and smoke pouring from the BLUE tower.

THE TIMEMACHINE: The time machine is three towers layed out in the form of a triangle. Each tower is color coded (red, blue, and yellow) and lights up.

TIMEJUMP IN: The TIMEMACHINE charges up as each light turns on. Then lightning dances from tower to tower gaining energy, and the characters "jump in". I've used a circular fade and covered it with the Ion Bubble. I have been unable to layer the effect under the red and blue towers.

TIMEJUMP OUT: The characters are standing in the TIMEMACHINE, again it charges up as each light turns on, only this time the lighting dances on their bodies.

BREAKING TIMEMACHINE: All story needs drama and in Part 4, the time machine breaks. Basically the blue tower sends a shower of sparks out as its blinking, sending the group running away.

BROKEN TIMEMACHINE: Once the TIMEMACHINE is broken, this leads to some heated arguments. But to visually convey the fact that the timemachine is in fact broken, I need the blue tower to randomly spark and have smoke pouring out of it.

HOW MANY:
There are a total of 6 TIMEJUMPS. 3 are the characters traveling out, so we see them first and then transition to the empty TIMEMACHINE, and three are teh characters traveling in, so we see the empty TIMEMACHINE and we transition to them standing inside the TIMEMACHINE.

Cheesy VS Not Cheesy: This project is a very low budget project. I would love for the effects to be top notch, but I worry of it looking to professional. So, in a way, I want to embrace the cheese of the actual project and stay true to that
