when i festival says that they want production stills do they mean still clips from the movie or like backstage shots?

Generally nice photos. Could be backstage, a photo of a scene, or the actors in costume in front of a blank wall. They are looking for something to help them market the movie and a clip from the movie will probably be less than ideal.
