This is way down the line for me but will be good to know.

I have created an effect in particle illusion, but cant seem to load this into final cut. can anyone help. I know it will probably just be a simple fix but cant seem to work out.

I have lots of software. Half of it i dont know how to use yet but will hopefully find someone who does know and can help.

Best regards.

I have tried it on my intel mac. Also on my imac g5, but damn, i just cant get it to work. Regards, as always, wayne

After you created your effect in Particle Illusion, in what format did you export it as?

I would suggest a sequence of Targa files, and then you can just drop them in to Final Cut Pro where each one is considered one frame. Put the effect on top of the layer where your footage is, and there you go. The completed composition will look like your particles over your footage.

I like the Targa format becuase it holds the alpha channel the best. Don't export in any video formats, and make sure if you had footage set in the background in Particle Illusion that you take that away. You don't want to export the video as well, it looks really bad when it is exported from Particle Illusion.
