Hi, My name is Tom and I'm new here but it seems like a very good place for any filmmaker 🙂
I'm editing a movie right now and I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find footage of a black and white movie, Something boring (Civil war type of film). It's a joke in the script and we need the footage to make it work.
Please help,

www.archive.org is your friend :).
Don't know about civil war footage, but you should be able to find tanks in the war movies.
You could also try http://www.publicdomaintorrents.com/
I think they have at least one old US civil war movie to download.
