Is it possible to make a muzzle flash effect in FCP?....if so, how??????????.....thanks....

Don't know about FCP, but in old versions of Premiere you used to be able to make a fairly convincing muzzle flash just using the 'Lens Flare' effect. Unfortunately in newer versions of Premiere the 'Lens Flar' looks a lot more like a real lens flare, so that doesn't really work anymore :).
