Legal issues with VHS duplication

Hello - I need to get some dupes on VHS PAL format for a doc I've shot. I am doing the NSTC myself. I am having an indie guy do the dupes of the PAL. Should I be concerned with his unauthorized duplication? (perhaps). My question is: is there a standard form I can pull of the net for free that he could sign that would say that he cannot make a copy for himself or distribute the film to others?

Hope this isn't unduly paranoid!

Thanks.

It is really a matter of whether you trust the person who is doing the duplication or not. Obviously if you use a commercial duplication house, then you can most likely rely on their business integrity. If it is just some guy you met who happens to have a PAL deck, then it's really up to you.

I doubt there's any standard forms out there, but there is nothing stopping you writing a little declaration if you a) are really worried about it, and b) don't think it will ruin your relationship with the duplicator.
