Is there a device that will allow me to plug either a vcr, dvd, and/or tv into it and itll input it into my computer via firewire???

What you're talking about is an analog->digital video conversion box. Pinnacle makes these, as do a lot of other companies. You can usually get a FireWire or USB2.0 box (get the FireWire if you can--it has a more constant data rate) for about $50 or $60.

Also, a lot of DV camcorders (any that has an analog-in port) can do this as well.

What exactly do I ask/look for? If I go into a Best Buy or a Circuit City what do I ask for?

Can you send me a link to one?
