All in all a darn decent setup, although you may want to double the RAM (I'm editing on a MacBook with almost exactly the same specs, and let me tell you that RAM is tight when I'm working with big projects), and you'll almost definitely need more hard drive space, either an internal upgrade or external drives (make sure you get one with a FireWire connection). The size of the projects (and the number of projects) you work on will determine how much storage space and RAM you need.

Also, you may at some point want to invest in a second screen (the new iMacs support a second screen, so you're good there). It can be endlessly useful, especially when editing, to have a little more screen real estate.
