Does anybody know where I can get that one sound that they use in horror movies which causes people to jump off of their seats?? If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it, thanks.
Are you talking about the high screechy sound or the sharp, heavy crashes or something else? Give us a bit more data and perhaps we can help.

I would suggest creating your own sound. Sample a cat screeching or something, or scratch a record, better yet finger-nails on a blackboard for that subconscious cringe.
