Can anyone post links to tips etc. for designing graphics for high definition projects?
I realize it's somewhat of a broad topic but it would really help! ANYTHING about desiging graphics for HD!
I'm not sure what the difference would be other than that you need to render at 1280x720 or 1920/1440x1080.
...what?
Does anyone have tips or links to tips or articles on designing graphics or designing anything for high definition??
hahah, he just answered your question :p There is no fundemental difference between designing graphics for DV or HD, just that instead of rendering at 720x576 pixels you render at 1280x720 pixels (720HD) or 1440x1080 (HDV) or 1920x1080 (1080HD).
All hd is is more pixels, there's no other fundemental difference visually.

In otherwords make your design large so if you have to change size you are reducing it and not blowing it up (artifacts or fuzziness show up then). You should do this anyway but with HD I would imagine it's especially important.

Maybe my original post was a bit too broad.
A. There are differences when you're designing something for HD rather than DV.
B. I'm not talking about how different they are visually.
Does anyone have links to articles or tutorials that discuss putting together and HD production (either graphical or non-graphical)?

Could you give us a hint as toward the difference instead of being so criptic? What are you working in? 1080 24p? 1080 60i? 25p? 50i? 720 etc etc.

I'm not aware of any differences beyond simple picture quality, but then I've never worked in HD.

Just generally HD (versus SD). Do you guys know of any websites that might have articles on the topic?
I've had a look and can't seem to turn any up. I doubt you'll find any specifically covering the differences because the only difference is the size
