Hey everybody,

I'd like to introduce a new section on my web page which deals with the working relationship between director/producer and film composers and discusses common misunderstandings and misconceptions about this relationship. I'd be happy about feedback.

This section will be extended regularly.

All the best
Robin

Robin this post is awesome mate! Especially when it states "it happens quite often that inexperienced directors want to add music to their movie simply because they like it". This is some thing that I have been guilty of my self so I can relate to this on a personal level, but I feel its a pit that a lot of producer/filmmakers make so thanks for the link as it was very useful.

All the best Cleary.

Excellent. Welcome to filmmaking.net.

I hope this isn't just a "drive by" and you join in here.

Thanks guys, I'm glad people find this helpful. I'll added two more articles yesterday dealing with the contract for a composer and the time needed for writing a film score.
