First post - hope I'm in the right thread.

I'm in post-production on a funny documentary and want to find some old clips to throw into the mix (ala "Stupidity") . . . you know when an idea is being discussed and a quick clip from an old movie will be used to add some flavour? It's often used in pop culture type films, using bizarre images and funny lines to further a concept.

My question: is there a database or search engine that could help me find such clips, or do I have to just start digging through old films in the hopes of finding something appropriate?
