Hey chaps - was curious as to what a good editing set up on home PC would be these days. I mean like RAM, CPU, Hard Drive etc.

Cheerie!

Editing on Premiere Pro.

looking to get a new hard drive, as my current ones are old and tired I belive!

Never used Premiere Pro, I'm afraid, but that should be plenty fast enough for DV editing: I used to use a P4-350 with 512MB.

Any decent modern hard disk should work fine too. I use 750GB Seagate disks, one IDE and one SATA... they manage sixty megabytes per second, and DV only needs four.
