I want to put south park episodes on my iPod. Is there anyway I can insert the DVDs and get the to a file that will be able to be brought up in iTunes and I could convert it there and put it in my iPod?
If you have a Mac, it's easy: get HandBrake (or HandBrake Lite) for free from http://handbrake.m0k.org - you can rip entire DVDs or individual chapters to QuickTime files that will play on your iPod (without any need to convert them in iTunes).
I'm not really sure what you can do in this vein on a PC. I know that there's an alpha or beta version of HandBrake out for Windows but I haven't had any luck getting it to work.
