Im looking for a good DVD burning software.

I bought a program called Power Director. Its an editing/DVD burning program. It really sucks. Im having trouble burning one of my films. It burns as a DVD but only plays on the computer.

What programs do you guys use? What works good and where do i go to get it?

Sonic ReelDVD for authoring and Nero for burning if you're on a PC, or DVD Studio Pro if you're on a Mac. Avoid Adobe Encore at all costs!

Hmm, I'm sitting here watching ReelDVD create a DVD image file right now, and I find it kind of clunky and buggy. While I've never used the Adobe program, I have heard good things about it from people who've used both. For actually burning the disks from an image file, I just use Burnatonce, just double-click the image file, press 'Write' and off it goes.

I don't understand why your DVD would only play on a PC though, unless your program is using a non-standard video format. Could it be that your DVD player just can't read DVD-R disks?
