Hello all,
I was thinking a cool idea for a thread would be, someone post a clip or grab and others see what effects they can do to it. The person could request a certain effect as well and then we post production lovers can go to town with it and see what we can come up with. Some fun ideas are: Sky replacement, color correction, flame and fire and other dynamic effects, Day to Night, muzzle flashes, glowing eyes, etc. The best way to learn something is by doing it so lets go for it! 🙂 After creating an effect we can report what program we used, and the steps that were taken so others can duplicate it in the future.

First post here - Erm, Greetings....
I think this would be a great idea - especially if someone could post a link to some uncompresseed green / bluescreen footage. I'm just getting to grips with some high-end compositing programs (Shake, Combustion), and I'd like to have some footage to play around with that isn't off a consumer DV cam, and isn't compressed to hell. Keying an MPEG clip just isn't fun...
