I just finished editing a short film shot on miniDV and edited with Adobe Premiere Pro in Windows. My question is, what is involved with converting this to HDCAM video (1080i/60i), which is required for some of the film festivals out there? Do you know of a post house which does this and typical costs out in the west coast? Of course, 16mm and 35mm is also accepted, but my guess is it would be cheaper to convert to HDCAM video over film. Is this correct? Thanks for any help.
