I'm a danish composer, and I've written music for movies and television for about 7 years now. But I really want to get better, and the coolest thing would be to go to a school where I really could learn the craft from the bottom and up.
Where on EARTH could I go do that?
I applied to a filmschool in London that had a course in it, but it wasn't really to my taste. Would like to go to school in New York if possible.
Any ideas?

Hi Thomas,
I had a look (and listen) at your site and don't really think you need to start at the bottom ?:)?. You've already done some fine work. I'm based in the UK and could mention some courses here but having not been on them myself I couldn't recommend them in any way. There are also a few remote learning courses now - I think Berklee offer one and also Music For The Media in the UK.
We would all love to learn more and improve in our craft but in the end you need to get out there and network to create work for yourself. There are thousands of wannabe composers (more than ever right now) studying toward the same aim but only a handful will make it. In my opinion, when you are naturally talented, as you appear to be, you may stand a better chance by just doing it, getting involved with whatever projects you can and always expanding your client list. There are always new things to learn as every composing gig is different, so learning on the job is as good a way as any.
Just my view of course.
Colin
